The Venom Tapes is the project of Mark Werdel, a local actor, musician, and nurse. Mark reached out to label head and song-maker al Riggs to take a look at an album called You're Welcome. al was blown away by this collection of miniature glitch symphonies, blending damaged 70's funk, Bowie-esque vocal deliveries and lyricism, back porch folk, and wild, ear-futzing electronica.

We hope that you will also be blown away by this first release. Once more, you're welcome.
